I first started drawing at age 5, and am a self-taught acrylic painter. I graduated with an accounting degree, but later realized I need and want more from my work. About five years ago I started hiking and painting, and these two have beautifully interwoven since then. My hiking trips inspire me and I take many reference photos to later go through. I choose elements, patterns, colors that excite me and that I want to explore further. My many sketchbooks are a testament to my process.

Based in Washington State, I create luminous mountain landscapes that bridge painting and stained glass through my innovative technique. Using acrylics on canvas, I hand-pipe gold outlines to mimic traditional leaded glass. My work aims to transform the peaks and valleys of the Pacific Northwest into serene paintings that invite stillness and wonder. I want to show how I see the beautiful nature around us.
